Operatives of Adamawa State Police Command have arrested two suspects for allegedly stealing a 100Ah Mikano generator battery, belonging to church in Yola.
In a statement on Sunday by the command’s Spokesman, Sulaiman Ngoruje, identified the arrested individuals as as Dad Yusuf, and Gibson Husseini.
INFORMATION NIGERIA learnt that the suspects are residents of Upper Luggere, Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area.

Sulaiman noted that accused individuals, who were arrested on Saturday, confessed to stealing the battery from LCCN Cathedral in Jimeta, on the night of June 23, 2025.

He added that investigation is ongoing to identify more accomplices and recover more stolen items.
The statement partly reads: “The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of the investigation.”
