Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, has joined English Premier League’s club, Brighton and Hove Albion on a free transfer from Paris FC.
The 24-year-old will officially move to Women’s Super League side on July 1, once her contract with the French club expires.
The Nigerian female goalkeeper, who is regarded as one of Africa’s top goalkeepers, has earned 55 caps for Super Falcons since making her senior debut in 2018.

Nnadozie rose to prominence at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and became Nigeria’s first-choice goalkeeper shortly after.
Her performances at the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cups further cemented her reputation, especially after a standout showing against Canada in 2023 where she saved a penalty.

She spent four seasons at Paris FC, where she made 16 UEFA Women’s Champions League appearances between 2022 and 2025, playing a key role in the team’s rise in French and European women’s football.
In a statement by Brighton & Hove Albion Women on Friday, the English club expressed happiness in the Nigerian player arrival.
The club said: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, subject to the usual regulatory processes,” the club side revealed on their official X handle on Friday.”
