President Tinubu Approves Licenses For 11 Private Universities

President Bola Tinubu has approved provisional licences for eleven new private universities across Nigeria.

In a statement on X by Special Adviser on Media & Public Communication to the President, Sunday Dare, disclosed that the former governor of Lagos State, granted the approvals during the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday, in Abuja.

The post reads: “President Tinubu today approved provisional licenses for 11 private Universities in Nigeria.

“At today’s FEC meeting the following Private Universities were approved :

“New City University, Ayetoro Ogun State, University of Fortune, igbotako, Ondo State, Eranova University, Mabushi, Minaret University, Ikirun, Osun Annex

“Abubakar Toyin University, oke-Agba, Kwara State, Southern Atlantic University Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

“Lens University, ilemona, Kwara State, Monarch University, Iyesi-Ota, Ogun State, Tonnie Iredia University of Communication, Benin City.

“Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management, Lagos, Kevin Eze University, Mgbowo, Enugu State

“President Tinubu is Committed to expanding the frontiers of Educational opportunities and infrastructure.”
