Former Rivers State governor and current Minister of Works Nyesom Wike has spoken out in response to the verdict handed down by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja.
The leader of the People’s Democratic Party said that he knew Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi couldn’t win the recently held election.
You may recall that yesterday the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja dismissed petitions filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party challenging Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory.
Nyesom Wike was quoted as saying, “I know that he (Peter Obi) won’t win the election,” in an exclusive interview with Channels Television. I am a realist; that much is certain.
In addition, he said, “For me, the way the election went, it was a tough election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has my vote.
