A man has been arrested in Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe, after allegedly stabbing another man in the stomach with a knife over an altercation involving a curvy girlfriend.
The suspect, identified as Melusi Ncube, has been charged with attempted murder.
According to the police statement posted on their official Twitter page, the incident occurred a fortnight ago and was the result of a misunderstanding between the two men over the girlfriend. The victim, a 42-year-old man, was stabbed with an okapi knife.
The police have confirmed Ncube’s arrest and he is expected to appear in court to face the attempted murder charge.
