Veteran actor and comedian Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jacob has died.
According to his long time friend Member of Parliament for Chiradzulu East Joseph Nomale, Mabedi died early hours of Monday at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre.
“His younger brother called me to confirm of the demise of Mabedi,”added Nomale.
Mabedi hails from Thumbwe in Chiradzulu district.
He has succumbed to COVID-19.
