A Kenyan nurse who moved to the United States a few years ago, has been missing for a few months now and her family has been distraught while looking for her.

The young lady, who is identified as Irene Wairimu Gakwa, had moved to another State in the America away from her family after he met a man on a dating website.
According to Daily Nation Newspaper, the two moved in together and started cohabiting until the disappearance of Irene Gakwa from their home in February of 2022.
38 year old Nathan Hightman, the boyfriend of Irene Gakwa has been arrested and police have described him as a person of interest in the disappearance.

So far, what ties him to the disappearance of the Nurse is the money in which she withdrew from her bank accounts a few months ago as soon as she went missing.
The former boyfriend is also said to have used her credit cards to buy boots and a shovel but still, the young lady is yet to be found.
Nathan, who hails from the Gillette, has defended himself saying that he had withdrawn the money with the aim of having her reach out in vain but she is yet to.
Police and family have appealed to anyone who has information or knows the whereabouts of their daughter to contact them.
