Earlier today social media went frenzy with videos of the alleged mermaid being shared a thousand times. The wild claims had rocked the internet alleging that the alleged mermaid was busted in Kenya’s Ukunda, Kwale port.
While reacting to the claims, Police have released an official statement on the same. Seen in an exclusive report from the NTV Kenya, Police have refuted the reports that the clip was taken in Kwale port.
While terming it ‘fake’ the police asked Kenyans to stop sharing any unverified reports on social media alleging that the mermaid claims had brought about scare and discomfort among the residents living around the port.
“Reports indicating that a mermaid has been spotted in Kwale are fake, police say…” NTV report.
