Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru Claims DCI Is Looking for Gachagua

Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru has said that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is searching for former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

According to him, the DCI has taken control of Gachagua’s homes in Karen and Wamunyoro. The lawyer made this statement through a message shared on social media.

Ndegwa Njiru told media houses to take note of the situation. He said the DCI officers are now hunting for Gachagua, but the reason behind the search has not yet been made public.

“To all media houses, kindly be informed that the DCI has taken hostage of all HE Rigathi Gachagua’s homes at Karen and at Wamunyoro.

They are currently man-hunting him. We are yet to be informed of the reason,” his message read.

This news has caused a lot of discussion among Kenyans. Many people want to know why the Deputy President is being searched for and whether any crimes have been committed.

However, no official statement has been released by the DCI or the government to explain the matter.

Rigathi Gachagua is the Deputy President of Kenya, and he is known to be close to President William Ruto.

Any action taken against him is likely to raise political concerns, especially if no clear reason is given.

At this time, it is not clear if the Deputy President is in hiding or if he has been arrested.

The lawyer’s statement only mentioned that the DCI is searching for him and that they have taken over his properties.

Many people are now waiting to hear from the DCI or other government officials to confirm what is happening. Until then, the situation remains unclear, and many questions are yet to be answered.
