At least 12 injured as groups clash ahead of Ruto visit to Narok

At least 12 people from Emurua Dikirr, Narok County, sustained serious injuries on Wednesday following violent clashes between two rival groups.
Police said one group identifying itself as “G12” and another allegedly aligned with Ilkerin Ward MCA Ezekiel Kiprono clashed.
G12, reportedly associated with an MP, is said to have held hostage an MCA who is a vocal critic of the MP in an apparent attempt to prevent the ward leader’s attendance at President William Ruto’s development tour in the region.
