The star newspaper reports that opposition leader Raila Odinga and his coalition party have failed to to nominate one person to sit at the IEBC Selection committee.The Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza were supposed to nominate one person each to the IEBC Selection committee.

Another news story is that KDF had to bomb Samburu caves after bandits killed an area chief in Samburu.The incident happened on Saturday when bandits stroked a village in Samburu killing a chief and two locals.

The People Daily reports that about three million children are out of school due to various problems they are facing.It has listed lack of food and unfavorable weather to be some of the problems that have denied learners the chance to improve their lives as parents also seek free meals in schools.
