Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has sensationally stated that the Mawego Police Station set itself on fire.
Speaking during the send-off of blogger and teacher Albert Ojwang at his Kakoth village in Kabondo-Kasipul on Friday, July 4, 2025, Owino said that the police station burnt itself to the ground, just as police had initially said that Ojwang’ had hit his head on the cell wall to death.
