As reported by Thursday’s People’s Daily publication, the CEO of KeRRA Philemon Kandie is facing removal following a petition filed at Nairobi Court.
Kandie is facing accusations of orchestrating the June 25th anniversary protests that led to unrest, destruction of properties and looting.
This comes days after DCI boss Amin vowed to bring to book financiers and planners of the June 25th anniversary protests.
However, opposition leaders led by former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi called on the government to arrest planners who hired goons to loot properties during the protests.
