Kikuyu Constituency member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah who is the majority leader has accused the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua of deploying goons to destroy his properties.

Speaking as reported by Friday’s People’s Daily publication, the vocal MP who is a key ally of President William Ruto accused the former DP of planning to harm his parents.

He claimed that Gachagua mobilized goons to loot his properties as a revenge following his dalliance to the head of state.

As a result, Kimani Ichungwah among other leaders including Dismus Barasa called for the arrest of Gachagua over the same.

This comes after interior cabinet secretary Kipchumba Murkomen noted that planners of the protests will be arrested and punished.
