Speaking through his official X page on Saturday, the 21st of June, President William Ruto’s Chair of the Counsel of economic advisor has in his message explained why President William Ruto is being fought left- right and center.
In his message, Professor David Ndii has argued that the President only won the 2022 elections with a thin margin which explains the serious opposition that his Government is facing.
According to Ndii, the difference between President William Ruto and his chief competitor Raila Odinga was only two hundred thousand votes.
Ndii went further to state that the only reason why Ruto was voted in by the lower class citizens was to upset the status quo and not because they love him.
Ndii has insisted that the same status quo is responsible for the instability and the opposition against the Kenya Kwanza Administration.
Ndii has alleged that the problems President William Ruto is facing are simply being engineered by those he defeated when he became President.
”William Ruto won election with a razor thin margin of 200k votes. He was voted in by bottom half of society on a platform of upsetting the status quo. The status quo is upset and fighting back. It could not be otherwise.” Stated the President’s advisor in his statement.
