Popular Gen Z Activist Loses Her Job Following Her Involvement in Protests

Popular Gen Z activist Shakira Wafula has lost her source of living following her involvement in the ongoing anti-police brutality protests.

Taking to her X handle, Shakira informed that the owner of the gym in which she was offering her classes has issued a communication to her stopping her classes henceforth.

According to her, the gym owner has stated that he does not condone political topics. Shakira wondered how such can happen yet neither their clients nor colleagues have complained about her involvement in politics.

“The owner of a gym I was working with communicated that I should no longer conduct classes there because he “disassociates” with all political topics. None of our clients had complained, none of our colleagues had complained- Some people do actually value things over people,” she stated.
