Businessman Jimmy Wanjigi Reacts As Blogger Arrested for Online Post Dies in Police Custody

The family of Albert Ojwang has called for investigations following the death of their son, a blogger who died in police custody.

Multiple sources have confirmed that the deceased was arrested by Police officers in Kisumu, he was later driven back to Nairobi, taken to Central Police Station where he was held.

According to the reports given by the police, the deceased hit his head on the wall of his cell in an apparent suicide, he was rushed to the Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Sources have confirmed that the suspect was arrested by Police for publishing false post of a senior police officer.

Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Honorable Babu Owino, who took to his different social media platforms to speak on this called for the arrest of the DCIs who were involved in the incident.

Several Human rights Organizations have threatened to hold protest in Nairobi. Billionaire Jimmy Wanjigi who took to his X formerly Twitter to speak had this to say.

Jimmy Wanjigi :The end of this murderous regime is nigh! Soon , very soon, you shall all be held accountable for all the blood letting you’ve done to the people of this wonderful Country!
