Speaking in Bungoma county during Economic Empowerment Program for the people of Kamukuywa, governor of the said county H.E. Kenneth Makelo Lusaka, was forced by president William Ruto’s personal aide Mr. Farouk Kibet, to announce amount of money Ruto had given him to deliver to Kumukywa residents as part of his donation to them.
In a video which was streamed live on the official Facebook page of Governor Lusaka Press Unit, Farouk Kibet could be clearly heard telling Lusaka in Swahili language to announce Ruto’s donation. He said “Tangaza” with a commanding tone.
Farouk said that as he was sitted in the VIP tent waiting for Lusaka to conclude delivering his speech so that he would take over the program and run it the way he does when he goes to various counties purposely for Economic Empowerment initiative.
After hearing that Farouk Kibet wanted him to announce the exact amount of money Ruto had donated…Lusaka composed himself and announced it. He said, the head of state had given him ksh. 3 million. The honorable governor went ahead and said, him personally, decided to boost Ruto’s donation with Ksh. 500,000.
According to Lusaka’s post, this event is being attended by over 20Mps. The exact location where it’s happening from… Is at Kamukuywa, AC (Mapera) Kimili Constituency, Bungoma county. Hon. Didmus Barasa is one of the top Leaders from Bungoma county who is in attendance. Barasa has already declared that come 2027 he will be vying for gubernatorial seat in the said county.
