Battle Lines Drawn as Opposition Storms Mombasa with a Massive Rally

The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua has broken his silence after the opposition stormed the coast region with a massive rally.

In the continuation of their countrywide rallies, the former Deputy President led the opposition brigade in touring Mombasa County as they make inroads in the coast region.

The troop made a stopover at Changamwe where thousands of Kenyans came out to listen to their message.

In his evening message, Gachagua sought to assure the people of Changamwe that they have heard their message as the opposition and will get into the government in 2027 to address their plight.

‘As Changamwe has always stood tall in trade and lively people, today in their numbers and great love, the people have spoken,” read Gachagua’s statement in part.

“We have heard your cry for change and economic liberation. We shall be with you every step of the way. Ahsanteni sana,” he added.
