The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) has moved its Nairobi headquarters just days after its unveiling. In a move whose cause is not known, the party has moved its offices from Riara Centre on Riara Road to Musa Gitau Road, off Waiyaki way. The reason for the move is yet to be known.
The party, whose Party Leader is the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, is facing challenges with setting its activities going as it cries frustrations from President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.
Immediately after unveiling, in a low key event in Kilimani, the party announced its mega launch on June 4, 2025. However, they later postponed to a later date citing frustrations from the state. The party was set to use the Kasarani indoor arena for the event but the government denied them permission.
