Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has poured cold water on President William Ruto’s tour of the Nyanza region, claiming the head of state is unknowingly campaigning for a future in the opposition.
In a post shared via his X account on Thursday, May 29, 2025, Amisi dismissed the large crowds that turned up to welcome Ruto in Kisumu and Homa Bay, saying they are not a sign of political support but part of a strategy to humiliate him.
