In a video which has been highlighted on his official Facebook page, Malala was captured saying that on Monday 26th, May, 2025, he will be welcoming governor of Trans Nzoia County, H.E. George Natembeya, DAP-K party leader Hon. Eugene Wamalwa among others for a bigger political rally to have ever happened in the entire Western region. Malala said.
Malala was to use today’s tour to market Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), after he was recently appointed by former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, to the position of deputy party leader. Unfortunately the said planned event didn’t happen, Police officers overpowered him and his team.
In the said video, Malala has dared Police officers that come Monday they should be fully prepared on grounds that him and the above mentioned leaders he will be with, will not fear them. He has vowed to do whatever it takes to end Ruto’s popularity in Western region.
Additionally, leaders who joined him today in Kakamega with the hope that their planned DCP Western Tour would be successful, have condemned the police for using excessive force to frustrated them.
