According to Sunday Standard newspaper, State House Chief of Staff Mr Felix Koskei is a man to watch following reports that he wields massive power at the executive branch of government.
In the report, Mr Koskei has been accused of commanding powerful executive officials including Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and other senior Parastatal Chiefs to take his orders or face consequences.
In a cryptic message, the Chief of Staff has taken to X to share a quote by scholar Mark Twain, stating that: “Always do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”
In what appears to be his response to the emerging details about his power at State House, Koskei says argues that whatever he’s doing is the right thing.
The CoS is also believed to have gone after the government seal, previously held by the Attorney General’s office and is now using it to extend his interests.
