“You cannot cheat on me with a man; you are my woman,” one woman said.
“Why are you beating a woman?” Mosiria confronted the man.
However, the women defended the man, asking Mosiria to leave him alone.
“Why are you defending someone who wants to beat you?” he asked one of the women.
According to Mosiria’s office, the two young women, who are members of the LGBTQ community, were in distress.
“The man attempted to forcefully take one of them with him for the night.”
The man claimed he had spent all his money buying them drinks and insisted there was an agreement that he would leave with one of them.
However, when the women declined his advances, he became furious and attempted to take one of them by force.
Mosiria stepped in, de-escalated the situation, and ensured the safety of both women.
