Gachagua Names 3 Parties in Mt Kenya Allegedly Sponsored by Ruto, Mentions Moses Kuria and CS Kabogo

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has claimed that at least three political parties in Mt Kenya are secretly sponsored by President Ruto, whom he referred to as “Kasongo.”

Speaking during a Murang’a event, Gachagua warned Mt Kenya residents against falling into what he called a trap designed to divide the region’s political unity. He alleged that parties linked to Moses Kuria, ICT CS William Kabogo, and Mwangi Kiunjuri are all projects backed by Kasongo to scatter Mt Kenya votes.

“We must not allow ourselves to be divided,” Gachagua said, accusing Kasongo of plotting to split Mt Kenya into East and West for political manipulation.

“We saw his plan and rejected it. That’s why we started our own party,” he added. Gachagua further revealed that Ruto is planning to register two more parties in Murang’a. He urged unity, saying only a united Mt Kenya can protect its political relevance and resist outside interference.
