Ong’ondo’s family weep as he’s buried
The family of the late, including his wives, sons, and daughters, were seated under a tent as they watched from a distance the pallbearers carry the coffin to the gravesite.
As the body was being lowered to the grave, one could hear wails coming from all over as the priest offered a prayer for the eternal rest of the deceased.
The wives of the late could be seen deep in sorrow, profusely shedding tears, having lost a man so dear to their hearts.
Despite trying to gather enough strength, the late’s children were unable to hold it in as they burst into tears, appearing deep in thought.
Memories spent with their dad and the thought of never being able to see him again must have lingered in their minds, as they wondered what life would be like without their patriarch.
Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga was also overwhelmed by the moment and was seen shedding tears beside the grave.
