Edwin Sifuna has made remarks suggesting a growing public dissatisfaction with the leaders, because they have destroyed their relationship with Kenyans .
Sifuna is a Kenyan politician serving as the Senator for Nairobi County since September 2022.
He is also the Secretary-General of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party and the Deputy Minority Whip in the Kenyan Senate .
 Sifuna has made headlines by stating, “The truth is that Kenyans don’t love us anymore, because of our own manners.”Â
This candid admission reflects his acknowledgment of the growing public disillusionment with political leaders, attributing it to their own conduct and governance failures.
“Members of Parliament have destroyed the relationship they had with Kenyan citizens. The bitter truth is that Kenyans don’t love us anymore, because of our own manners,” said ODM Secretary General, Senator Edwin Sifuna.
He has criticized leaders, stating that they have ignored the populace’s concerns, leading to increased frustration among citizens .
