Raila Urges Trump to Restore USAID During a Meeting with US Envoy

ODM leader Raila Odinga has urged the US government to reconsider its decision to halt funding for USAID programs.
In a statement dated Wednesday, March 19, Raila stated that he made the appeal during a meeting with Ambassador Marc Dillard, the Charge d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Nairobi.
The ODM leader emphasized that the funding supports humanitarian efforts in Kenya and globally, and its suspension would impact many people.
