It has emerged that former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga is among the guests who have been invited to grace this year’s National Prayer Breakfast.
According to sources privy to the arrangements of the event which will take place at the Thika superhighway based Safari Park hotel, other Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance principals have also been invited.
It is not clear however if Raila Odinga will attend the event which is the first one under the leadership of His Excellency the current Head of State president William Ruto.
Raila Odinga missed Last year’s last National Prayer Breakfast under his handshake partner Uhuru Kenyatta and was represented by Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua who was then his running mate.
His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto will be gracing this year’s National Prayer Breakfast as the Chief Guest and will meet Members of Parliament from both sides of political divide.
It is not yet clear if those who will be incharge will allow the politicians to discuss the current state of the political atmosphere in the country.
It will be the second time that William Ruto will be interacting with both politicians from his Kenya Kwanza administration and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance having interacted with them the first time when he opened parliament.
