“Yesu wa Tongaren is now known all over the world and we expect many visitors coming to see him so we will be grading the road to his home,” said Chikati as reported by People Daily
Last week, Yesu wa Tongaren found himself in police custody after an officer nabbed him over his teachings
He was accused of spreading false teachings but when he was presented before the court, he was set free for lack of evidence.
Chikati who was also not impressed with his arrest to the media that the officer did not know what they were doing when they locked up the preacher, adding that his teachings were biblical
“As an MP I will assist him in all ways because his teachings are not against the law,” he said.
However, the county boss, Ken Lusaka was of a different opinion from Chikati. According to Lusaka, Yesu Wa Tongareni was joking with the word of GOD
“When he was arrested he failed to perform miracles so that he could walk out of Bungoma cells,” he said.
