“Avoid Gold And Diamond Rings” Comedian Njuguna Reveals The Cost Of His Wedding To Wakavinye
If you like comedy you must have come across Timothy Kimani Ndengwa alias Njugush . He is among the most influential and inspiring comedians who rose from grass to fame through hard work and determination.
He appears in his comedies together with Wakavinyi whom he exchanged vows with PCEA Evergreen, Runda. They have been together for almost a decade.
During the interview, he revealed the ups and downs of his relationship with his wife Wakavinye, and how he had money struggles at the start.
Speaking on TV47’s Dr. Ofweneke Tonight show, Njugush said proposing to Wakavinye was one thing that gave him a hard time since he was not financially stable.
“Proposing was challenging. She use to send me ideas on how to propose, and every idea required a lot of money” the comedian revealed.
“My wedding cost less than KSh400,000. The church alone was KSh50,000 and they provided tents, seats, and sound equipment.”
He also advises those whose who wanted to propose on a budget to avoid diamond and gold rings and stick to cheap classy ones.
