Teachers happy as court sends this important message. The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) is the government Independent body which determines the salaries of all government workers in this country. with this regard, the government of Kenya work closely with the commission to see that all government workers are well treated in salary payment. Recently the Salaries and Remuneration Commission decided to review the salaries of the government workers which could see the Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teachers’ salaries get slashed. With this regard the Kenya Union Of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) chair Aboko Milemba filed a case demanding the SRC review to be stopped because it will affect ECDE teachers negatively.

However teachers are now happy as court sends this important message. According to the reliable sources, court has stopped SRC review following the case filed by KUPPET chair Aboko Milemba, this sounds as good news especially to the ECDE teachers in this country.
