Kenyans yesterday mostly stayed at home especially in the capital of Nairobi where the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance held protests for the better part of the day.

Most of the city highways were deserted as motorists and passengers alike stayed at home away from the chaos that was witnessed from the protestors engaging the police in running battles all day.
The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has insisted that the anti government demos will be held every Monday and Thursday of every week.
This morning, after the chaos that was witnessed yesterday in Nairobi City, normalcy has resumed in most of the roads leading up to the Nairobi CBD.
According to the available reliable reports that we have with us from Thika Superhighway, normalcy has resumed as there is a heavy traffic jam from Garden City inbound.
Motorists are stuck in the traffic jam that starts all the way from Garden City to Pangani in Nairobi as per the reports that we have with us from the scene this morning.
The cause of the traffic jam is unknown but motorists have been advised to plan accordingly as there will be serious delays to town this morning.
Patience as well as caution on the road has been advised as the country resumes normal operations after yesterday’s demos in Nairobi City.
