Meet The Youngest Phd Holder In Kenya Who Scored 235 Marks In Her KCPE

This young and beautiful lady is called Purity Ngina. She was born in 1990 in Nyeri County. Being brought up in a humble family, she endured the pain of going to primary school barefooted. In 2002, she sat for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCPE) and scored 235 marks. This didn’t seem to discourage her. In pursuit of her dreams, she repeated in class 8 the following year and later managed to score 368 marks. What a remarkable improvement! Indeed believe in yourself and faith it till you make it. She is currently an academician and research assessment manager at Zizi Afrique Foundation.

Purity holds a bachelors degree in mathematics and chemistry and a masters in applied mathematics both from Egerton University. She later advanced her studies and lectured students at Strathmore University. While teaching at Strathmore University, she got funds to finance her PhD education. It is here that at an age of 28 years, she became the youngest doctor of philosophy (PhD) graduate in Biomathematics at Strathmore University. Congratulations to her for such an awesome achievement.
