His name is Ledama Ole Kina. He was born in Oloombokishi village in Narok county the year 1974. He holds a bachelor of Arts degree in Political science and communication from University of Massachusetts in Boston. He has worked as an assistant producer at Reuters and managing director at Sidia media group. He is also a philanthropist known for championing the education of Maasai girls.
Ledama joined politics and currently, he is the senator for Narok county serving his second term. Apart from legislating, the politician has interest and passion in farming. He owns an organic farm called Enkanasa Village in Narok.
The farm occupies 1,000 acre piece of land of which 50 acres are for barley growing and other 50 acres are for corn. Here, he rears Freasian daily cows which produce milk that is supplied to factories and also organic crops like maize and barley are grown for sale.
