Washington Wandahuh is one of the most popular comedian especially in the Kikuyu community. He is greatly known for acting exemplary for many years. Today, Wandahuhu was featured in the Njanjo program that run by Kameme Tv with aims of uniting family members who might have separated at one point of their life. He appeared with his wife who narrated the pain they have been going through as a family.
She claimed that their son Eugine Waweru walked out of their home in July last year to go and search for greener pastures in Mombasa. and Waweru’s mother claimed that five years ago, their son had engaged in drug abuse where he used bhang. His situation worsened and the family had to take their son to a rehab for 9 months after which he recovered and told not to use bhang in his lifetime.
Waweru’s mother claimed that her son perhaps took an advantage of freedom last year while searching for greener pastures and started using the drugs again. The parents claimed that they last communicated in November 28th, 2021 at 3.00 am. According to the statement of the mother at Kameme TV, Waweru claimed that he had amassed a lot of wealth and that he was already building a home. Waweru’s mother sensed that his son was not okay basing on his communication that was not adding up. She asked his son to give them a contact of one of his neighbours in the morning of 28th.
On 8th December, 2021, Waweru’s parents received a call from Waweru’s neighbour who claimed to have seen Waweru without a shirt in one of the highways on the road. The attempts to follow up on their son have since be in vain. The parents have been finding their son with hopes that they will still re-unite. Waweru’s mother was unable to control her tears in studio claiming that she has now relocated to Mombasa for seven months in search of her son.
