Amber Ray and her long-term friend Phoina, popularly known for her Phoina hair collection, have not been on the best of terms for some time. The two have refrained from posting each other and spending time together. They even went as far as unfollowing each other on social media.
In an interview with Mwende Macharia of Radio Maisha, Phoina finally commented on the issue which had left many of their fans in the dark.
Mwende asked her about her relationship with Amber, citing that fans were questioning why they fell out.
“Ulionekana mna ukaribu mwingi na mwanadada aitwaye Amber Ray ila hivi karibuni kumekua na maneno mengi mtandaoni, inasemekana you guys fell out. What happened?” Mwende Macharia asked her during the interview.
Phoina was reluctant to comment on the issue, insisting that Mwende should ask her more relevant questions about her business. She clearly stated that she is focused on building her business, which aims at inclusivity of all women since it is a beauty business.
“Sisi wote ni binadamu, sisi wote tunafanya kazi, Phoina beauty is about all women. I’m here to do business, sina issue na mtu, and that’s that,” the beauty said.
This answer left their fans none the wiser.
