Renowned Kenyan actress Maria Wa Kitaa has hinted at making a comeback on TV Screens. Maria Wa Kitaa shot into the limelight after she was featured as the main actress in the popular local TV drama show dubbed Maria. The show which used to air on Citizen TV came to an end but fans still wanted to see more of Maria Wa Kitaa. The majority of the fans even went ahead and requested a season 2 of Maria show.

Lulu Hassan who was one of the directors of the show, nonetheless, recently confirmed that Maria Show will not have a season 2 as was being expected by the fans. Shortly after the confirmation, Maria Wa Kitaa has hinted at making a comeback on a new show dubbed Sultana that is expected to grace Citizen TV soon.

Sultana show is set to replace Zora show which came to a conclusion recently. Zora was the show that replaced Maria and also did extremely well in winning over many fans.

Through her Instagram page, Maria shared a video that showed her in attendance of the launch of Sultana show which had majorly been attended by its cast. Maria’s presence at the show’s launch has left many wondering whether she will be making an appearance in the show given the fact that she has been highly demanded by the public.

“Jana ikawa siku ya #sultana tukamkaribisha kwa mpigo,” Maria Wa Kitaa’s caption on the video that showed her at the event read.
Sultana will be airing on Citizen Tv from Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm.
