Wamuchomba Sounds Alarm Over What Could Be Happening Behind the Scenes Between Ruto and Uhuru

Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba has dropped a cryptic message about President William Ruto, retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, suggesting that there could be more to their political relationship than what is being seen publicly.

Wamuchomba made the remarks in a Facebook post as Ruto continues to accuse Uhuru of sponsoring opposition politics.

The former president has repeatedly dismissed the accusations, maintaining that he has no political ambition and is satisfied with what he accomplished while serving as Kenya’s fourth president.

But Wamuchomba offered a different reading of the situation, questioning whether the public exchanges between Ruto and Uhuru could be hiding interests linked to their past political partnership and what lies ahead.

“Sponyo na Kasongo are brothers just like they call each other …….. and they have to defend each others interests of the past and the future. It’s called Self preservation,” she wrote, using “Sponyo” for Uhuru and “Kasongo” for Ruto.

Wamuchomba went further by suggesting that the language used by the two leaders towards each other points to a relationship in which they could have reasons to protect one another’s interests.

She then singled out Gachagua, whom she referred to as “Wamunyoro”, suggesting that the former deputy president could know more about the situation than has been made public.

“Huwa wanaitana My brother and in their brotherhood,they must defend each other’s interests. Hapa only Wamunyoro is Right. Yes, He knows something is going on. Shida yake hana shukrani, he fights even his brave solders like me who can take a bullet,” Wamuchomba stated.

Her remarks introduce Gachagua into a debate that has largely centred on the political relationship between Ruto and Uhuru.

Wamuchomba did not explain what exactly she believes is happening behind the scenes, nor did she provide evidence to support the suggestion that Ruto and Uhuru are protecting shared interests.

The Githunguri MP also appeared to warn about another group of politicians whom she suggested could be drawn into a political plan.

She linked their situation to the earlier Ruto-Uhuru partnership and the political formula associated with their time working together.

“Hawa vijana wengine wa Wantam wanalambishwa dextrosol. Just like they Did to Baba ( they are scripting the skit aiming at yangu Kumi – yako Kumi).The demon of betrayal is doing presser ups. Wait for it,” she wrote.
