Ramaphosa to address the nation at 7pm

JOHANNESBURG – President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation on Tuesday on government’s plans to tackle gender-based violence.

The announcement was made by Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni during a media briefing on the outcomes of a Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, 23 September.

Ramaphosa’s address comes amid a growing number of women being murdered in Ekurhuleni. The bodies of 11 women have been discovered across the municipality over the past two months.

The President will also provide an update into the murders.
