The Ghana-Yorkshire Trade & Investment Summit will take place at the University of Bradford from September 11 to 12.
It aims to foster connections between Ghanaian government agencies, investors, and exporters with Yorkshire businesses, universities, and civic leaders.
The summit will focus on four priority sectors: agriculture and cocoa value addition, critical minerals, energy, and technology including fintech.
Nana Abena Owusuaah Hagan, chief executive officer of Shaping Our Futures Together (SHOFT) CIC, said: “We look forward to hearing from you, and hope you will join us in bringing this landmark partnership between Ghana and Yorkshire to a wider audience.”
Bradford has been chosen as the host city for the summit’s inaugural edition.
The University of Bradford already has academic links to Ghana and West Africa, with research expertise in African enterprise strategy and cross-cultural management.
