It mentioned the terms of reference of the Committee as memoranda and inputs presented by stakeholders such as the Standing Committee, GAEC, the EPCG Pastors Association, Presbyteries and present the proposed amendments to the GAEC through the Clerk of the General Assembly by the first quarter meeting in 2027.
The others are fine tune the proposed amendments in accordance with the inputs received, forward the proposed amendments to the Presbytery Synod for their feedback and submit the final document through the Clerk of General Assembly to the GAEC and then to the 13th General Assembly for its promulgation.
It said the period of the review will be from the 12th General Assembly until the 13th General Assembly in August, 2027 and that the Committee could consult stakeholders for more insight.
