Data from the Bank of Ghana shows the Ghana’s domestic debt rose about 57 billion cedis between December 2025 and June this year to 391.1 billion cedis, about 24.5 percent of the country’s GDP. Meanwhile, Ghana’s Treasury bill auction was oversubscribed by 51.6 per cent this week, with investors offering 9.94 billion cedis against a 6.5 billion cedis target.
