Thirteen people died, and 18 others sustained critical injuries in a road crash involving a Ford Transit and a Toyota Hiace on the Sege-Ada highway on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred at the time the two vehicles were travelling from opposite directions in the Sege and Ada section of the highway.
Firefighters from the Sege Fire Station responded to the scene and assisted in rescuing the victims and managing the casualties.
The five injured victims were conveyed to the Sege Polyclinic, where they are receiving medical treatment.
