Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has praised Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele for her approach on movie set.
Speaking in a recent interview with E-splash, the actor described every opportunity to work with Funke Akindele as a blessing while highlighting her impact on his acting career.
Arukwe, who spoke highly of Akindele’s approach to filmmaking, stated that she regularly compliments his acting skills and expresses appreciation for his work whenever she contacts him for a movie role.
“Every time Funke Akindele calls me, it’s always a blessing. She’s always commending my acting skills, saying she loves my work, and then I felt like putting down her words on my CV,” he said.

Arukwe also described Akindele as one of the best filmmakers and a good teacher, saying he values the opportunity to learn from her whenever they work together.
He, however, revealed that despite her supportive nature, she can be demanding when it comes to acting and expects actors to know their craft.
“It’s always a privilege every time she calls me for a movie role. She’s one of the best filmmakers and a great teacher, but one thing about her is that she doesn’t have patience for those who don’t know how to act.”
