Sarkodie
Ghanaian rap heavyweight, Sarkodie, is set to host Rapperholic Kumasi on October 24, 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the rapper has confirmed.
Sarkodie took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the date with the caption, “Oseikrom sorry for the wait!!! See yall 24th OCTOBER #RapperholicKumasi26.”
The announcement comes after the massive success of the 2025 homecoming edition, where thousands of fans endured a downpour at the same venue to witness Sarkodie and surprise guests, including Shatta Wale, deliver a night-long spectacle. The rapper has since disclosed plans to make the Kumasi edition an annual Ashanti Region tradition.
Hype man Paradise, who featured on the 2025 lineup, described the previous edition as life-changing, while fans in the Garden City have already started booking ahead in excitement. Tickets are expected to drop soon.
The Kumasi date comes as Sarkodie prepares for his upcoming Australia tour, but the rapper says he could not keep Oseikrom waiting any longer.
Rapperholic remains Ghana’s biggest hip-hop concert and has for over a decade headlined the December calendar in Accra before its expansion to Kumasi.
