Nigerian socialite Sam Larry appears alive after auto crash speculation

Samson Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry, made his first public appearance after surviving a recent auto crash, countering earlier unverified claims of his death. A trending video shows him celebrating with associates, appearing alert and in stable condition, bringing relief to many on social media. The promoter has been a controversial figure linked to the investigation into singer Mohbad’s death in September 2023, though he denied involvement and police said evidence would guide the inquiry.

The appearance was captured in a trending video circulating across multiple social media platforms on Saturday, where Sam Larry was seen celebrating with his associates, appearing alert and in stable condition. The video has since attracted thousands of reactions, with many users expressing relief over his recovery. The video surfaced days after unverified claims flooded social media alleging that the promoter had lost his life following a road accident.

His latest public appearance is expected to further put to rest the speculation surrounding his condition. ” Sam Larry has remained a controversial figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, particularly following the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad in September 2023. He came under intense public scrutiny after videos emerged showing confrontations involving the late singer before his death. The backlash prompted calls for an investigation, and he was subsequently questioned by the police as part of the probe.

Although his name featured prominently in public discussions surrounding the case, investigators stated that the inquiry would be guided by available evidence, while Sam Larry consistently denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death.
