MTN Ghana has marked this year’s Mother’s Day celebrations with a range of personalised rewards and premium customer experiences aimed at appreciating subscribers and strengthening customer loyalty across the country.

The initiative, which combined exclusive dining experiences with a digitally-driven rewards campaign, formed part of the company’s broader strategy to go beyond connectivity and create memorable experiences for customers.

Speaking on the initiative, Chief Commercial Officer of MTN Ghana, Noel Kojo-Ganson, said the company wanted to use the occasion to demonstrate appreciation to customers, particularly loyal subscribers who continue to support the brand.

“Mother’s Day is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do connect people to what matters most. This year, we wanted to go beyond connectivity and show our customers, especially our most loyal ones, that MTN truly values and celebrates them,” he stated.

According to him, the initiative was designed to ensure customers felt recognised and appreciated through thoughtful gifts, premium experiences and flexible reward options through the MTN Rewards platform.

At the centre of the celebration was a specially curated package for some of MTN Ghana’s high-value customers. Selected customers were treated to exclusive lunch vouchers at Labadi Beach Hotel, one of Accra’s renowned hospitality destinations known for its premium dining experience.

The company said the gesture was intended to provide customers with a memorable and world-class experience as part of the Mother’s Day festivities.

In addition to the dining experience, another category of selected customers received assorted pastry boxes together with shopping vouchers from Melcom Ghana, combining lifestyle rewards with practical value for beneficiaries.

Beyond the premium gifts and experiences, MTN Ghana also extended the Mother’s Day celebration to a broader customer base through its MTN Rewards Mother’s Day Campaign, which ran from May 10 to May 20, 2026.

The campaign, hosted on the MyMTN App, allowed customers to redeem accumulated MTN Rewards points for a wide range of products and lifestyle items.

These included mobile phones, shopping vouchers, kitchen appliances, MTN-branded souvenirs and other curated rewards designed to suit the varying needs and preferences of customers.

According to the company, the campaign was intended to make appreciation more inclusive and accessible by giving customers the flexibility to select rewards that resonated most with them.

MTN Ghana noted that the Mother’s Day initiatives formed part of its ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and strengthening engagement with subscribers nationwide.

The telecommunications company added that the activations also reinforced its customer-first approach and commitment to building lasting relationships with consumers through innovative and experience-led engagements.
