“I was paid GH¢500 to kill and collect fluids from the dead, so we went and did it again” – Suspect

According to a report by Ghanaweb on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, a man arrested over a string of killings has allegedly told investigators he murdered at least three people and collected bodily fluids from their remains for a woman who reportedly runs a chop bar.

A video circulating on social media shows the suspect in handcuffs during questioning, describing how the alleged scheme worked. Akoma FM was the first to report on the footage. The people questioning him are believed to be police officers, though this has not been officially confirmed.

In the recording, the man claims he was hired for GH¢500 to kill people and obtain their saliva and genital fluids. He names the woman who engaged him as Efo, who he says operates a chop bar.

He allegedly told his interrogators that after each killing he used a handkerchief to collect the fluids before delivering them to her. According to his account, the arrangement did not end there. “When I take them to her, she tells me she needs more, then we go and do it again,” he said in the video. “She gives me GH¢500.”

The suspect’s claims are unverified and come from a single recorded interrogation. The report does not say where the killings took place, who the victims were, or whether the police have identified or arrested the woman he names. It also does not say whether he has been formally charged. The Ghana Police Service has not yet commented on the video.

The allegations, if confirmed, would point to a killing-for-hire arrangement tied to ritual purposes, a theme that has featured in several criminal cases in the country in recent years.
