Israeli West Ham Player Manor Solomon Labeled a ‘Baby Killer’ by Pro-Palestine Activists Due to IDF National Service

October 31, 2026 sportnow West Ham player Manor Solomon has been labeled a “baby killer” by pro-Palestinian activists due to his service in the IDF.

Ruffians demanded the club to “remove” the Israeli, supported by local council members.

Masked and hooded activists filmed a video outside the Championship club’s London Stadium in East London, threatening the winger directly.

In a modified robotic tone, one of them states: “We oppose the signing of Manor Solomon. We will continue raising our voices until he is out of the club.”

This incident follows some Irons supporters chanting “Manor Solomon’s on my mind / And he hates Palestine” during the August 16 match against Burnley.

He had recently joined the club — which later asked fans to cease such chants — only days prior.

The recent harassment of Solomon was amplified by the Tower Hamlets Palestine Solidarity Network, managed by councillor Faysal Ahmed.

They posted an image from the video, stating: “Activists emphasize the message: Remove baby killer Manor Solomon from West Ham United.”

At least seven other Tower Hamlets councillors belong to the group’s Facebook page.

Solomon, aged 27, underwent mandatory military service in the IDF — Israel Defense Forces — starting in December 2017.

This service started seven years prior to the Gaza attacks that were initiated after Hamas killed at least 1,195 Israelis on October 7, 2023.

Alex Hearn from Labour Against Antisemitism remarked: “Solomon has done nothing wrong aside from being an Israeli footballer. Forcing a player out of their job due to their nationality is not activism, it’s bigotry. No elected councillor should support such behavior.”
